Little kids don’t keep grudges. To be childlike is to not keep grudges or burn bridges. Kids forgive quickly.
To be a child is to love wholly and forgive fully. To live life, one day at a time. Most times life rips the innocence right out of us.
As we age, we learn to start keeping scores. We have a tally of people who have hurt us. As we start getting older, the more scores we keep. Do we keep score because we get older or do we get older because we keep scores?
Do we stop playing because we are old? Or do we get old because we stop playing?
