Rich people keep rich friends. Poor people keep poor friends. So which came first? The friends or the financial status? Your guess is as good as mine. It is a classic chicken or egg dilemma.

You must need to relegate a few unsuccessful friends to the background and stick with people whose success you would like to model and emulate.
Poverty and bad-luck is infectious. And although success isn’t sexually transmitted disease, it can be transferred through osmosis. So stick with a winner for the sake of your financial future.
