Education has no Immediate Gratification

Just yesterday I got brand new set of tyres for my car. All four tyres are now brand new! But no one seemed to notice!

But I bet if I’d opted instead to have the car re-painted, everyone would notice almost immediately. But what shall it profit a man to drive a shiny car on old worn-out tyres?

In a similar way, we sometimes attend a training program or pay for a seminar and no one seems to notice. We easily could have opted to buy a new handbag or pair of designer jeans.

But ultimately in the long run, the value of our investment pays off in ways we cannot begin to imagine and helps to avoid unimaginable losses we might have encountered if we opted instead for immediate gratification.
