World Cup vs. Permanent Voters Card

The World Cup happens once every four years, just like the elections in Nigeria. But I wonder if people would forget or neglect picking up their World Cup tickets like they are presently neglecting picking up their Permanent Voters Card.

I understand that many young Nigerians may be disillusioned about the entire political process. But use your vote and make a difference, it is more sacred than a World Cup ticket. It would determine the path of the future of this nation.

The cost of avoidance and indecision is a lot more expensive than choosing to act. It is even more abominable that the poor masses who choose to sell their votes due to hunger and poverty. Poverty short-circuits a person’s thinking and makes them think only short-term.

So dare to use your vote. It’s your opportunity to matter.
